Citizens For Change is a local, non-partisan, activist organization working for a better community through awareness of and participation in our local government. Although still in our infancy, Citizens For Change is already engaged in many of the community issues important to all of us, working for you, the citizens of Buncombe County, North Carolina. As we grow, we will strive to keep you informed on things happening in Buncombe County as well as occasional state and political issues.
Citizens For Change invites you to become a Member with our non-partisan organization. We are people who believe in upholding our constitution and making our county a better place to live. We have tackled many issues over time, such as zoning, water buffers, DSS, property rights and district elections. We have held rallies, protest marches and numerous community meetings. Be advised: We have an opening prayer at our meetings and we say the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag. This may appear wrong to some people but it suits us just fine.
